Frosted glass is produced by the sandblasting or acid etching of clear or tinted sheet glass panel. This creates a pitted surface on one side of the glass pane and has the effect of rendering the glass translucent by scattering the light which passes through, thus blurring images while still transmitting light.
Usually, to make a frosted glass, you have to do the frosting or sandblasting after grinding, and then put glass into temper
machine to make it stronger enough for safety concern.
